On May 10th the second set of “The Art of” books by Dave Taylor will be launching  though Kickstarter.  The Art of Series are art books featuring various artist 
each volume is unique, as each artist is given the chance to design their book in the way they want.

"Part of my book talks about the more memorable pieces I’ve done. One such chapter is dedicated to the Triptych. It discusses the inspiration, research, story, how it was built, why certain decisions were made." 


 The triptych. 3 pieces done to each tell their own story but also a story between all 3. The first, Fate, showing the Norns weaving the fate of a young warrior.
 Second, Valkyrie, as our shield maiden falls a Valkyrie arrives to collector her for Valhalla. Third Valhalla, a bust depicting the funeral of our sheildmaiden as she leaves for Valhalla.  But there is a common thread in all 3 depicted by the shield.
